45 Years of Chromatography and Osmometry
Experience
KNAUER has been developing and distributing
osmometers and chromatography systems in over 60 countries since its opening on October 1, 1962. That's more than four decades! KNAUER's broad spectrum of instruments and systems ranges from the smallest HPLC system in the world, the CHANCE® system, to our Smartline series of analytical and semi-preparative HPLC instruments, up to the largest simulated moving bed system (SMB), the CSEP® C912 for the countercurrent extraction of pure substances of up to 1,000 kg per year.
Know-how
KNAUER offers an extensive range of column packing materials and the suitable hardware. Among the materials we produce in Berlin, Germany, are the proven and optimized Eurospher and Eurokat as well as chiral Eurocel, which are available in many different modifications. Recently KNAUER also introduced high spreed columns with sub-2 µm particle size. From HPLC system solutions to separation columns we continue to provide our customers with the best one-stop service.
Quality
KNAUER has successfully held a solid share of the classic HPLC and osmometer market for more than 45 years. We owe this success to the strategy of introducing innovative products that meet both the technical and business needs of this demanding field. KNAUER's goal will always be to create the utmost in customer satisfaction by producing market oriented instruments and components that are among the most reliable in the world. Our ISO quality management system that has been introduced and established in 1996, guarantees high quality according to the requirements of the latest DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 regulation.
Environment
The environmental impact of our business activities was always a our concern. We not only focus on the environmental compatibility of our products, but also optimize material usage and energy consumption at our facilities and in the processes involved. Some key points: recycling, donation of trees, use of green cutting fluids, travel policy, green roof, green energy, solar energy system. Since 2011 our environmental management system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001.
Expansion
From 2011 until 2013 the expansion of the existing production facilities of Wissenschaftliche Gerätebau Dr. Ing. Herbert Knauer GmbH will be supported as part of the joint task "Improvement of Regional Economic Structure" (GRW) from federal and German state funds and funds from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union.
Cooperation
OEM customers pay special attention to the high quality product manufacturing and joint cooperation provided by KNAUER: Meeting deadlines and comprehensive service is part of our good reputation. On all seven continents in over 60 countries our customers are working today with instruments by KNAUER. Therefore, it is not astonishing when we say that our export quota is over 60%, but rather a sign of our successful business strategy.
