Welcome to the Spring 2009 issue of the KNAUER e-report.

Many are currently talking about the acetonitrile (ACN) shortage and the thereby resulting problems and costs. Us too - we however are doing something about it:
  • With our Eluent Savings Handbook we give you a range of practical tips and suggestions to help you deal with the acetonitrile shortage.
  • We also present in this issue a GPC application describing the characterization by GPC of a substance in which acetonitrile is generated as a by-product: industrial polyacrylnitrile.
